Narrative
A group of rabies survivors live on a small island. When one member of the group leaves the island on a mission to the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have transformed not only the infected, but other survivors as well. 39; by Rudyard Kipling, read by actor Taylor Holmes in 1915. The repetitive rhythm of the poem imagines the marching of British soldiers during the Boer War, and this recording of the poem is used by the U.S. military to simulate the psychological suffering of being held captive. .Followed 28 Years Later: The Temple of Bones (2026)
